How do I do that!

We are often asked how to do things for our markets and auctions, so our lovely admin Kate L, has compiled a list of our most common questions and answers for you!

If there is anything else you are unsure of just leave a comment below ...so HOW DO I…??

TAG MY PAGE:
- type @ before you start typing your page name. You can include spaces, but punctuation (such as ' and - ) can be tricky so try typing without.
Usually once you have tagged a page often it comes up with it when you try it again.
- MOBILE - go through safari. If you are too lazy to switch, you can type your Facebook web address. i.e. www.facebook.com/yourbusinessname. If
you are not sure of your Facebook web address, you can find it under your settings tab - page info.
- You cannot tag people (unless they are your friends) on your business page, unless it is in the comments section where they have commented on
a post.

FIND A LINK TO MY POST:
- When you make a post on your business page, there is a time stamp underneath it. Click on this and it will open in a new window. You can then
copy the URL web address to wherever you like. Alternatively, you can just right click on the time stamp and go to Copy Link and it will grab the link
automatically.
- MOBILE - go through safari to do this.

FIND MY ITEMS LINK ON THE HANDMADE MARKETS PAGE:
- Find your item in the relevant album and click on it. Then copy the URL web address.
- Mobile - go through safari.

ADD A PHOTO TO THE ALBUM ON THE HANDMADE MARKETS AUCTION PAGE:
- Find the relevant album under the photos tab. Click on Add Photos up the top.
- Mobile - go through safari.
- A maximum of 2 items may be added to the weekly auction, and they must be set out with all the relevant information as shown in the first photo.
Failure to do this will mean your item will not be included. They must be posted by 6pm on the Friday or they will not be included.

FOLLOW A POST:
- You can click on the drop down arrow and go to GET NOTIFICATIONS to follow a post you are interested in. This saves you writing "following" or
putting a dot.
- MOBILE - go through safari.

INTERACTION POSTS:
These are designed to help boost your posts and others in news feeds, by increasing the interaction on them. You leave a link to your post by doing
the above method, then visit everyone else's posts and like/comment on them. Once you have visited someone's post, click like on the interaction
post so that you know you have done it. Don't forget to check back later to visit everyone else's post.

HANDMADE MARKETS MARKET ALBUM:
Just a word on the markets. They don't technically close, people are able to peruse the albums anytime after they open. You need to make sure you
try and receive notifications on your items, by tagging yourself in the photo of your listing, and/or commenting on your listing. This doesn't ensure
you receive notifications, so you need to check on your items quite often when the market opens, and every now and then when the items are a bit
older. If your items sell elsewhere, you need to update your listing by writing SOLD OUT on it.
IN CASE YOU HAVEN'T NOTICED… IT IS MUCH EASIER TO DO EVERYTHING YOU WANT TO DO BY GOING THROUGH SAFARI (IPHONE)
AND GOOGLE CHROME (FOR EXAMPLE ON ANDROID) ON YOUR PHONE OR IPAD.

This is not a definitive list on how to do things on Facebook, but is designed to make admin's job easier by having a file to answer the questions that are continually asked. Feel free to suggest any other methods, or anything else you think that would make posting information easier.
